Afroart was established was established in Stockholm in 1967, and is now owned by six textile designers, all with an MFA degree.
The Afroart team collaborates with local artisans to highlight the craftmanship of the developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. This means that not only are sustainable jobs created for those most in need, but also Afroart’s clients gain access to the world crafts that may not be represented otherwise.

All Afroart products are imported directly from artisans or through Fair Trade organizations.
