The Solid State Watch is an experimental art project by CW&T — a celebration of the Casio F-91W, a watch that has been made unchanged since 1989 and remains one of the most reliable, accurate, and quietly remarkable pieces of technology ever produced. By sealing it permanently into resin, CW&T strips away everything except the essential: the time.

Each watch is handmade in-house in small weekly batches. Every piece has its own unique imperfections from the casting process. When you order, you specify your desired time in UTC format — once cast, the time cannot be adjusted. It will ship set to your timezone and may drift by up to ±1 second per day over time.

This is not a watch for everyone. But if you understand what it is, you'll love it completely.
