Bonanova Jute Shoes - Natural was £125

Handmade slip-on shoe in hardwearing, plaited jute. The jute upper is hand sewn from a single jute braid by craftswomen in Bangladesh. It is then sent back to Mallorca where the sole, made from natural rubber, is fitted.

Irene Peukes’ designs are inspired by Mallorca, in the region known as the Pla, a place where the most deeply rooted traditions are mixed with influences more diverse of its multiple international visitors.

That fusion inspires PLA collections design with an artisan way of working and the use of natural and sustainable materials.
