Designed by Danish Design Studio says who for Fritz Hansen, Virkelyst is a modern outdoor furniture series with the comfort of indoor seating. The simple wooden frame strikes a contrast with the thick, soft cushions. Constructed from FSC-certified untreated solid teak, the sofa is naturally durable and highly resistant to harsh weather conditions.

If you get caught out by a rain shower, you will like the way the cushion dries quickly. This is thanks to an open-cell structure in the foam which allows both water and air to pass through. Thanks to the high-quality construction, the foam cushion provides firm and comfortable support while seated. Upholstered with Oeko-Tex-certified fabrics, the Virkelyst Sofa is lightfast as well as water and dirt-repellent and even mildew-resistant. As the wood is untreated, each sofa is intended to develop a naturally unique wood patina as it ages. The warm brown colour will gradually soften to a light brown/silver tone.
