Artist Mona Johansson (1924–2010) visualized the town and her pictures are deeply rooted in the experience of growing up in Gothenburg, Sweden. The drawing Neighbourhood, showing a view over Esperantoplatsen, was painted in 1983. The personal mannerism in her drawings is characterized by total freedom of perspective and a playfully unreliable naturalism. Mona has been a favorite artist of Fine Little Day for a long time and we have had the privilege of making a offset poster edition with her work.
