

Paige Mitchell Frilly Pot - Stoneware
- Description
Stoneware pot with a frilly rim thrown on the wheel by hand using an off white clay with a drainage hole punched into the bottom once leather hard. Fired once to 1000 degrees celsius, then stamped, waxed, and dipped individually into a glossy transparent glaze. Once dry the pieces are ready for their final 1260 degree firing. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Measures approximately: Small: Pot - 12cm x 10cm

Working out of her studio in Norwich, Paige creates work which serves to function in her other daily activities. Her ideas are developed through gardening, sketchbook drawing, and both wheel thrown and hand-built ceramics. Paige’s days are spent managing the daily goings on in her shop, Elm. Otherwise, she is working on one of many projects. Sat at the wheel, glazing and firing ceramics, gardening growing both edibles and ornamentals, and spending time with her dachshunds Rickley and Henry.
