Felt Junior shoe of 100% SilkFit with a sole of soft calfskin.

The shoe is comfortable to wear and makes space for small feet to grow. The shape follows the contours of the foot, ensuring the shoe stays on. The shoe is flexible and keeps the foot warm and dry, as the wool has a great capacity to absorb moisture.

Material 100% pure natural wool with a sole of soft calfskin.
Care Advice Wool is self-cleaning. However, if required, your Glerups can be hand washed or on a 'wool', 'hand wash' or delicates' program (max 30°C). The slippers may shed a little, It is only natural, and the fibres just need to be plucked off.
Origin When dying the wool only the best non-metallic colours are used. Hides are tanned using the most modern and eco friendly methods. The fleece is washed in soft lime-free water it is then trimmed, edged and fitted with soles.

A hobby that grew...

In 1993, Nanny Glerup started producing slippers made of felted wool on a small scale, simply as a hobby. They were so well received by friends and family that she decided to make it her living. However she was only able to manufacture two pairs a day. Since then she has developed new production techniques and over the years, assisted by her husband, Ove Glerup, she has refined the design into the beautiful slippers that are produced today.

Not sure of your size?

Glerups are made true to size and are designed to be snug on the foot. We recommend you order your usual shoe size. If you are a half size, we advise that you go down half a size, the felt will give and ease to the shape of the foot.
