The Arcs Candleholder shares its language with the Arcs grinder — both designed for HAY by Belgian duo Muller Van Severen, both built around the same chain of vertical arcs that creates a scalloped silhouette around whatever they hold. Here, the arcs encase a candle in aluminium and steel, in a red that is warm and deliberate rather than loud.

A considered object for a mantelpiece, a dining table, or a shelf. The large size stands 13cm.
