We began roasting coffee in the basement of our first restaurant on Exmouth Market in 2010, right as London’s specialty coffee scene was emerging. Caravan was established by our three Kiwi founders who want to bring a taste of home to the UK, creating a space with good food, good coffee, and a relaxed, inviting vibe. 

While London had plenty of good produce, finding ethically sourced, specialty-grade coffee was a challenge. So, we took matters into our own hands and started roasting. What started as a small venture beneath the restaurant has now flourished. 

Today, we roast all our coffee at our North London Roastery, serving our nine restaurants, two cafes, and an expanding network of wholesale partners who share our dedication to quality and sustainability.

Each piece in our collection is crafted with intention—balancing timeless design with modern responsibility. We use only high-quality, ethically sourced materials, working closely with skilled artisans who bring every detail to life with care and precision.
