Melamine resin is a classic, durable dinnerware material. It is BPA-free, food safe and complies with the most stringent international food safety standards including the FDA, the EEC and their Japanese equivalent.
It is suitable for use within the temperature range of -22º F to 248º F and is dishwasher safe (top shelf recommended), but is not recommended for use in ovens or microwave ovens.
As a collectible product, it is a sustainable alternative to use of disposable paper, plastic, or polystyrene plates.
Winner of the Good Design Award from the Museum of Modern Art (1953, 1954).
Mid-century industrial designer Russell Wright believed that the table was the centre of the home.
First designed over 60 years ago the Russel Wright Residential Collection is available once again, crafted from durable, shatterproof melamine. This Creamer is designed with soft curves and a gentle sloping handle for easy pouring. The creamer can be used as a single tabletop accent piece, or can be coordinated with other items in the Russel Wright Residential Collection for a cohesive kitchen statement.
The Residential Collection remains an icon of the 20th century—and now the 21st century—home.
