The Hamji Bowl, created in collaboration with Korean artist Sukkeun Kang, embodies the relationship between traditional craftsmanship and the forces of nature. Made from locally sourced timber (‘Neutinamu’ from the Zelkova tree) and using a natural lacquering technique called ottchil, the beautifully carved item serves as both a crafted object and a functional bowl. Each item, unique and individual, is characterized by the irregularity and fluidity of its shape, becoming lightweight tablewar
